The second and final day of this year’s MAMA Awards 2022 has ended in Osaka, Japan!

Day 2 of the 2022 MAMA Awards was held at Osaka’s Kyocera Dome on November 30, with Park Bo Gum serving as the MC. Check out some of the red carpet looks from Day 2 here!

During the Day 1 event on November 29, awards were presented for Yogibo Worldwide Icon of the Year, Favorite New Artist, Worldwide Fans’ Choice (Bonsang), Yogibo Chill Artist and Favorite Asian Artist.

In addition to winning the Yogibo Worldwide Icon of the Year on Day 1, BTS received a special MAMA Platinum Award for creating a “global cultural phenomenon outside of K-pop.” This platinum award also recognizes BTS MAMA’s achievements over the years in all four Daesang (Grand Prize) categories, including Worldwide Icon of the Year, Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year.

While BTS took home three of the four daesangs this year, IVE’s song of the year was awarded. This makes the rookie girl group who won Favorite New Artist on Day 1 only the third group to win the Daesang and Rookie Award at MAMA in the same year.
