tvN’s “Alchemy of Souls 2” ended on a high note!

On January 8, the series finale of “Alchemy of Souls Part 2” achieved the highest ratings of the entire drama series, including last year’s Part 1. According to Nielsen Korea, the final episode of “Alchemy of Souls Part 2” scored. average national rating of 9.7 percent, marking a new personal best for the hit show.

“Alchemy of Souls Part 2” also remained in first place in its time slot across all cable channels among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, earning a 4.1 percent national average for the series finale.

However, “Alchemy of Souls” wasn’t the only drama that soared to a new all-time high in ratings last night: both JTBC’s new drama “Agency” and KBS 2TV’s “Three Bold Siblings” also achieved their highest ratings ever. “The Agency” rose to an average national rating of 5.1 percent for its second episode, a slight increase from the previous night’s premiere.

Meanwhile, “Three Bold Siblings” climbed to a new personal high of 23.5 percent, successfully remaining the most-watched program on any channel on Sunday.

Finally, TV Chosun’s “Red Balloon” jumped to an average nationwide rating of 6.9 percent for its latest episode.
