Both BIGBANG’s Taeyang and BTS’ Jimin are making some exciting career firsts as soloists with their new joint single!
During the week of January 20-26, Taeyang’s new single “VIBE” featuring Jimin entered several official UK charts (usually considered the British equivalent of the US Billboard charts).
“VIBE” debuted on the Official Singles Chart at No. 96, making it both Taeyang and Jimin’s first-ever entry as soloists on the chart.
The song also debuted at No. 4 on the Official Singles Sales Chart and the Official Singles Download Chart, making it Taeyang’s first solo entry on both charts and Jimin’s second (following his “Our Blues” OST “With You“). .
Additionally, “VIBE” debuted at No. 48 on the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Singles Chart this week, making it the first solo entry for both Taeyang and Jimin to chart.
