BLACKPINK and BTS have received multiple nominations at this year’s iHeartRadio Music Awards!

On January 11th local time, the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards announced their full list of nominees for this year’s event.

BLACKPINK is up for four different awards, including Best Duo/Group of the Year, as well as three community-voted categories: Favorite Use of Sample, Best Music Video, and Best Fan Army. BTS also earned nominations in the latter two categories, with Jungkook earning a solo nomination for Best Music Video with “Left and Right,” his collaboration with Charlie Puth.

In the Best Duo/Group of the Year category, BLACKPINK will go up against AJR; The Black Eyed Peas; Bruno Mars, Anderson, Paak, Silk Sonic; Glass animals; Imagine dragons; Maneskin; One Republic; Parmalee; and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

BLACKPINK is nominated for Favorite Use of a Sample with “Pink Venom,” which sampled 50 Cent’s “P.I.M.P,” Rihanna’s “Pon de Replay,” and Biggie’s “Kick In The Door.” Other nominees include Beyoncé’s “SUMMER RENAISSANCE” (Donna Summer’s “I Feel Love” sample), Chlöe’s “Treat Me” (Bubba Sparxxx & Ying Yang Twins’ “Ms. New Booty” sample), “I’ David Guetta & Bebe Rexha m Good (Blue)” (Sample “Blue [Da Ba Dee]” by Eiffel 65), DJ Khaled & Drake “Staying Alive” (Sample “Stayin’ Alive” by The Bee Gees), “Vegas” by Doja Cat (sample Shonka Dukureh’s “Hound Dog”), Jack Harlow’s “First Class” (sample Fergie’s “Glamorous”), Latto “Big Energy” (sample Mariah Carey’s “Fantasy”), Lizzo “Break Up Twice” (sample “Doo Wop [ That Thing ” by Lauryn Hill ]”), Nicki Minaj’s “Super Freaky Girl” (Rick James’ “Super Freak” sampled), “Question…?” Taylor Swift? (sampled Taylor Swift’s “Out Of The Woods”) and Yung Gravy’s “Betty (Get Money)” (sampled Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up”).

Additionally, BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom” is nominated for Best Music Video along with Charlie Puth and BTS’s Jungkook’s “Left and Right” as well as BTS’s “Yet To Come.” They will play against Taylor Swift’s “Anti-Hero”; “How It Was” by Harry Styles; “Calm Down” by Remy and Selena Gomez; “Don’t Be Ashamed” by Tiësto & Karol G; “Don’t YOU WORRY” by Black Eyed Peas, Shakira, David Guetta; “Envovler” by Anitta; and “Tití Me Preguntó” by Bad Bunny.

Finally, BLACKPINK’s Blinks and BTS’s Army will compete against Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, Beyoncé, Harry Styles, Megan Thee Stallion, Louis Tomlinson, Rihanna, Big Time Rush, Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift for this year’s Best Fan Army award.

The 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards will take place on March 27 at 8 p.m. ET (March 28 at 9 a.m. KST), and social voting runs from January 11 to March 20.
