RM BTS Makes Billboard 200 History!

On December 26th local time, Billboard announced that RM’s new solo album “Indigo” has re-entered the Top 200 Albums chart (its weekly chart of the most popular albums in the United States) after its physical release in the United States.

In the week ending December 31, “Indigo” re-entered the Billboard 200 at No. 3, marking its second consecutive week on the chart (and becoming RM’s first-ever solo album to enter the top 10).

RM is now the first Korean solo artist in history to reach the top 3, with “Indigo” surpassing TWICE’s Nayeon’s solo debut mini album “IM NAYEON” (which peaked at #7) to become the highest-ever Korean solo album on the Billboard 200.

According to Luminate (formerly MRC Data), “Indigo” earned a total of 83,000 equivalent album units during the week ending December 22. The album’s total score consisted of 79,000 traditional album sales and 4,000 equivalent album units (SEA) – translating to 5.3 million on-demand audio streams during the week.

Congratulations to RM on the historic achievement!
