“Crash Course in Romance” shares two fun trailers that highlight the main characters of the drama!
The upcoming tvN drama “Crash Course in Romance” is a new romance drama starring Jeon Do Yeon and Jung Kyung Ho. The drama will tell a warm yet cold and sweet yet thrilling story of people who have to deal with the endless competitiveness of entrance exams. “Crash Course in Romance” follows the bittersweet scandal between a side dish shop owner who is late entering the world of entrance exams and a star instructor in Korea’s elite private education scene.
Jung Kyung Ho stars as Korea’s number one math instructor Choi Chi Yeol. In his trailer, Choi Chi Yeol surprises viewers when he suddenly turns and jumps in a sharp suit and black umbrella reminiscent of the “Kingsman” series. The professional and smart Choi Chi Yeol even amazes the audience as he performs some tough moves and barely breaks a sweat. As she finishes her dance routine, she stares directly into the camera and says, “Pride Maketh Math. Choi Chi Yeol’s Math Lecture,” and the trailer finally lets viewers know that the video is Choi Chi Yeol’s advertisement for his lectures.
The second trailer introduces Jeon Do Yeon as Nam Haeng Sun, a former handball athlete turned passionate owner of a side dish shop. Her trailer first begins with Nam Haeng Sun facing backwards, giving viewers a good look at her former national athlete’s uniform with the word “Korea” proudly stretched across her back. When she turns around, a variety of tasty side dishes are displayed in front of her. The banner above represents the name of her shop – National Representative Side Dish Shop – while the other banner reads: “I do it with a National Representative mindset.”
tvN’s new Saturday and Sunday drama “Crash Course in Romance” will premiere on January 14 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
