“Island” is getting ready to premiere!
Based on the website of the same name, “Island” is an exorcism fantasy drama set on Jeju Island. It depicts the harrowing and bizarre journey of characters who are destined to fight against the evil that seeks to destroy the world. The drama will be directed by director Bae Jong of “Welcome to Dongmakgol” and “Fabricated City.”
On November 22, “Island” revealed new character posters of the four main characters Kim Nam Gil, Lee Da Hee, ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, and Sung Joon.
First, Kim Nam Gil exudes a dark charisma as Pan, “a being who is both a monster and a human.” The text next to it reads, “I’ve been waiting for you for a long time,” captivating the audience along with a piercing gaze that is as sharp as the sword of Kim Nam Gil, known as Geumgangjeo.

Lee Da Hee is the “person at the center of destiny” as she transforms into Won Mi Ho, a third-generation chaebol and teacher who spends a period of self-reflection on Jeju Island. He asks, “Why are they following me?” raises questions about what will take place on Jeju Island.

Donning priestly robes and holding a staff, Cha Eun Woo becomes the engaging exorcist John, who is “a person who exercises the authority of God.” His poster reads: “I will protect. That’s my decision.”

Last but not least, Sung Joon becomes Goong Tan, who was “forsaken by the world” and mesmerized the audience with his long silver hair. Holding a bloodied Geumgangje on his shoulder, he looks deep into the audience as his quote reads, “As expected, I shouldn’t have trusted people.

“Island” will premiere in December. Check out the action teaser below!
