The most memorable response I saw was ‘Please make a season 3’. It’s scary to think about, but I’m grateful. It was a long drama for a new actor like me, but everyone enjoyed it a lot. I’m glad I finished this big project well. I want to thank all the viewers in a cheerful way,Lee Jae Wook replied when asked about his feelings after “Alchemy of Souls” ended.

On January 5, Lee Jae Wook met with TenAsia at a cafe in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul for an interview to commemorate the end of tvN’s “Alchemy of Souls” (Written by Hong Jeong Eun, Hong Mi Ran, directed by Park Joon Hwa, Bae Hyun Jin).

Lee Jae Wook, who was offered the role of the main character in the masterpiece even though he was a new actor, said, “I actually declined at first. It was so hard and I didn’t know if I could do it well. But I think I did it with the intention of challenging new things. From an acting point of view, I am very satisfied with the result. I don’t know when we will meet again, but it is important that we finish the series well,” he said.

Lee Jae Wook cited the chemistry with his co-stars as the driving force behind the drama’s success. He said: “We actors are of a similar age and we really relied on each other a lot. Shin Seung Ho, Hwang Min Hyun, Go Youn Jung, Shin Seung Ho, and Yoo In Soo I relied on all of them a lot.
