First aired in August 2020, “Backstreet Rookie” is a romantic comedy about the unpredictable love story between convenience store owner Choi Dae Hyun (Ji Chang Wook) and part-time employee Jung Saet Byul (Kim Yoo Jung).

“Super Couple” tells the story of a former National Intelligence Service (NIS) undercover agent who loses her chance at love while protecting the country, but reunites with her former lover, who is a chaebol heir, at a convenience store. . Son Geun Joo, who wrote the SBS drama “Backstreet Rookie,” and Jung Yong Ki, who directed the 3rd and 5th seasons of “Marrying the Mafia,” will be collaborating on this project.

Lee Sun Bin was offered the role of the female lead Min Sa Rang, who is a former NIS undercover agent but is now a payroll manager at a convenience store.
