
It’s that time of year already when we look back on the second half of 2022 and the perfect K-dramas we’ve been blessed with. If you missed the first part, you can watch it here. So without further ado, here is a list of other must-see K-dramas.
Please note: The list is in no particular order and only K-dramas that have completed airing by the end of December 2022 are included.
“One Dollar Lawyer”

“One Dollar Lawyer” stars Namgoong Min as Cheon Ji Hoon and Kim Ji Eun as Baek Ma Ri. Ji Hoon is a lawyer who only charges one dollar for his services. He is a lawyer who seeks justice and fairness for his clients and is fearless.
This series garnered quite a lot of buzz, mainly because the story was very enticing. Seeing each case and how the underdogs overcome seemingly impossible obstacles with the help of Cheon Ji Hoon was inspiring. Viewers will love the show’s hopeful tone and positive message that people can overcome evil, even if they are poor and seemingly have no one on their side.
“Weak Hero Class 1”

“Weak Hero Class 1” is a web drama based on the hit movie of the same name. The series stars Park Ji Hoon as Yeon Si Eun, Choi Hyun Wook as Ahn Su Ho, and Hong Kyung as Oh Bum Seok. All three students come together to fight against serious thugs and criminals in their neighborhood.
This series has the perfect mix of bromance, crime fighting and action. It’s so fascinating to watch the three friends develop a bond with each other and also use their respective strengths to take down the villains. Despite some unfortunate twists and turns, the series manages to tug at the heartstrings until the very end. Let’s hope there is a second season!
“Reborn Rich”

When Yoon Hyun Woo (Song Joong Ki) is tragically killed, he is reborn as the son of the same company he worked for. But he remembers everything from his past life and vows to dedicate this new life to destroying society to get revenge.
This is a clear choice that you definitely need to check out for 2022. “Reborn Rich” dominates the ratings, especially in South Korea. People can’t get enough of the justice-seeking Yoon Hyun Woo, as well as the sizzling love line he has with Shin Hyun Been. The convoluted and very complicated plotting of Song Joong Ki’s character in hopes of revenge makes this series a perfect series to indulge in.
“Alchemy of Souls”

“Alchemy of Souls” starring Lee Jae Wook as Jang Wook and Jung So Min as Mu Deok is a fantasy romantic drama about how their destinies change. Mu Deok has the soul of an elite assassin named Naksu in his body. Although she became Jang Wook’s servant, she ended up teaching him in exchange for keeping her secret.
This series will take you into a whirlwind of adventure. Your heart will not rest, and with the addition of the second season, even more anticipation and cliffhangers await you. Seeing Jung So Min and Lee Jae Wook’s romantic fantasy story unfold is so beautiful, but it’s also heartbreaking. And the mysticism and magical world that the series provides is the perfect escape for anyone who likes fantasy.
“Extraordinary Attorney Woo”

Woo Young Woo (Park Eun Bin) is a brilliant lawyer on the autism spectrum. She was able to memorize law books from a young age, which leads to her having a job in a law firm as an adult. She works with a team of very helpful lawyers who help those who deserve justice and also forms a love line with a co-worker at the law firm named Lee Jun Ho (Kang Tae Oh).
This drama is given because it surprised the world. No one could have predicted the joy and heartfelt emotions that Woo Young Woo and her team would bring. Seeing her overcome various obstacles as well as find love with Lee Jun Ho made it the perfect K-drama story. It gives hope and inspiration to many.
“Little Women”

In “Little Women,” there are three sisters played by Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun, and Park Ji Hu. They are all poor and their mother has abandoned them. But when eldest sister Oh In Joo (Kim Go Eun) receives a lot of money from a close work friend, a mystery unfolds as she gets involved in a case where she has to fight against the richest family in South Korea.
This series had viewers on the edge of their seats as they were unable to accurately predict or find out what would happen at the end. The twists and turns throughout the story, not to mention the impeccable acting skills of the female leads, made for a fun watch. You really can’t go wrong with Kim Go Eun!
“The Queen’s Umbrella”

Kim Hye Soo plays Im Hwa Ryeong, the queen of a palace where trouble and conflict arise as a result of the princes causing havoc. As the queen, she must constantly try and keep them on the right path.
This series may seem a bit humorous at the beginning as Im Hwa Ryeong runs around the palace throughout the episodes trying to find her sons who are causing trouble. But beyond all the politics and issues the princes seem to go through, the story touches on the passion and heart of being a mother. Many will find that they can relate to Queen Hwa Ryeong and how much she is willing to do for her children. The series received a wave of positive reviews and once again proved that Kim Hye Soo is the queen of K-drama!
