JTBC’s upcoming survival program has shared two group teasers ahead of its February premiere!
“Peak Time” is a new idol survival program in which male idols who have already debuted will compete as teams for a chance to become the next “Global Idol Group”. It was previously announced that the program will be hosted by Lee Seung Gi, and the judges will be Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, WINNER’s Song Mino, Jay Park, Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany, Highlight’s Lee Gikwang, and INFINITE’s Kim Sungkyu.
On January 1, “Peak Time” released teasers for the two groups’ performances featuring only their silhouettes without revealing the identities of the members.
The first team performed an impressive rendition of SEVENTEEN’s “Getting Closer”:
The second team impressed with their fiery cover of ENHYPEN’s “Future Perfect (Pass the MIC)”:
The “Peak Time” production team shared the program’s goal. “We only intend to show their skills without the boxes and labels attached to their team names and pictures. [Through the program] people will be able to evaluate teams purely on their skills without prejudging their existing image and find new aspects or values of teams that they didn’t know before.”
Trailers for the show will be released at 6 p.m. KST every other day starting January 1 on JTBC Entertainment’s YouTube channel, with full versions of their face reveal videos available after the first broadcast on February 7 at 10:30 p.m. KST.

Can you guess who the teams are just by their silhouettes? Stay tuned for more updates!
