Synopsis
Xia Dong (Zhu Ya Wen), a business researcher at business consulting firm Ouxun Group, was accused of plagiarizing AI while studying abroad ten years ago. His best friend’s betrayal at the time made Xia Dong’s condition worse, especially after his father died.
In order to uncover the truth behind the incident that destroyed his reputation, Xia Dong moved from the US headquarters to the Shanghai branch. In his new office, he meets Jian Yan (Wan Qian), his junior year at school, who now works as an investigator.
When she was 15 years old, Jian Yan’s family life was destroyed after her father was accused of stealing trade secrets and forced to be released. Since then, Jian Yan’s ambition is to become a leading business investigator to eliminate those who cheated her father. Her success in uncovering corruption cases in the Tokyo Ministry prompted Jian Yan to move to Shanghai.
Day by day, Xia Dong’s kindness and truth shone more and more, so she easily helped to resolve the misunderstanding from the past. Afterwards, Xia Dong and Jian Yan work together to check the company’s background.
