Get ready for a bittersweet romance between Jung Kyung Ho and Jeon Do Yeon!
tvN’s “Crash Course in Romance” is a new romance drama that will tell a warm yet cold and sweet yet thrilling story of people who have to deal with the endless competitiveness of entrance exams. The story follows a bittersweet scandal between a side dish shop owner who is late entering the world of entrance exams and a star instructor in Korea’s elite private education sphere.
The second trailer shows the warm emotions of the drama as well as the fascinating romantic tension between Jeon Do Yeon and Jung Kyung Ho. Jeon Do Yeon plays Nam Haeng Sun, a former national handball player turned passionate boss of the National Representative Side Dish Shop, while Jung Kyung Ho plays Korea’s number one math instructor Choi Chi Yeol. The two live completely different lives and seem to have nothing in common, as happy viral Nam Haeng Sun cooks with the same passion she used to compete with, and Choi Chi Yeol deals with his explosive popularity as the so-called “BTS” of private education .
Despite their differences, both characters are similar in their passion and desire to live each day diligently. Their unusual first meeting exemplifies the endearing bond they eventually form when they bump into each other at Nam Haeng Sun’s store. They then continue to randomly cross paths and Choi Chi Yeol comments, “She’s really fast.”
Their constant encounters lead to a change in their relationship as Choi Chi Yeol makes a regular visit to Nam Haeng Sun’s store to examine her attachments. He casually comments, “You know I really like [this], right?” This freezes the usually nonchalant Nam Haeng Sun in his tracks as he reconsiders what he meant.
