CLASS:y showed off their versatility with a fun NewJeans cover on “Weekly Idol”!
The rookie girl group from the audition show “My Teen Girl” appeared as guests on the November 9 episode of MBC’s Every 1 variety show, where they performed their new title track “Tick Tick Boom” and played a series of games together with the MCs.
For the program’s signature “Weekly Playlist” segment, CLASS:y prepared a danceable cover of NewJeans’ recent hit “Hype Boy.”
When asked why they chose “Hype Boy,” Hong Hyeju explained, “Our fans said they wanted to see our youthful and refreshing side, so we ended up choosing ‘Hype Boy,’ which we’ve been listening to a lot lately. “
