Jeon Do Yeon’s upcoming movie has confirmed its release date in a fiery new trailer!
Netflix’s “Kill Boksoon” is an action film about the legendary hitman Gil Bok Soon (Jeon Do Yeon). Just before she is scheduled to renew her contract with the company, she is drawn into an inevitable confrontation where she has no choice but to kill or be killed. The film will be directed by director Byun Sung Hyun of “The Merciless,” which had a midnight screening at the 70th Cannes Film Festival.
The first poster of the film offers a dramatic look at the top assassin Gil Bok Soon, who works for the top assassin company M.K. ent., along with the various bloody weapons he uses to accomplish his missions. She fulfills every request she makes and boasts an impressive 100 percent success rate, but she’s also a single mother raising her ten-year-old daughter, Jae Young (Kim Si Ah). Before her contract is renewed, Gil Bok Soon decides to leave the company to work on her relationship with Jae Young, who seems to be harboring a secret.
At the beginning of the first trailer for “Kill Boksoon”, Gil Bok Soon is shown as “Jae Young’s Mom” at a social event for parents. When asked what he does for a living, Gil Bok Soon politely lies, “I just work at an event planning company.”
As Gil Bok Soon prepares for her real job, she casually comments, “It’s such a contradiction to be a mother and do this kind of work. Visiting M.K.’s office to see CEO Cha Min Gyu (Sol Kyung Gu) and his younger sister Cha Min Hee (Esom), director of M.K ent, she has a completely different appearance from the parent company. Gil Bok Soon later adds, “Killing people is so easy compared to raising a child.”
While carrying out his missions, Gil Bok Soon soon ends up working with M.K assassin Han Hee Sung (Goo Kyo Hwan), who is definitely skilled, but for unknown reasons no one knows him. What kind of relationship will these two develop?
