Upcoming drama “Island” has released another action-packed trailer!
Based on the website of the same name, “Island” is an exorcism fantasy drama set on Jeju Island. It depicts the harrowing and bizarre journey of characters who are destined to fight against the evil that seeks to destroy the world. The drama will be directed by director Bae Jong of “Welcome to Dongmakgol” and “Fabricated City”.
The newly released teaser gives a look at the heroes Pan (Kim Nam Gil), Mi Ho (Lee Da Hee), and John (ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo) who will fight against evil. Right from the beginning, the Lord tells: “The evil that has been a parasite on this earth since the beginning of time – we do not know where they are or where they will appear.”
Terrifying monsters with razor-sharp claws and fangs begin to appear on Jeju Island and sweep the island into a whirlwind of chaos until Pan and John make a formidable entrance to fight the monsters. Shocked and speechless, Mi Ho tries to flee when she is chased by creatures she has never seen before.
The text “Strange creatures facing evil have finally begun to move,” appears on the screen as John blocks the creature with his powerful staff. Mi Ho joins the fray, aiming the gun with a steady gaze, while Pan deftly fends off the monster and deftly wields the Geumgangjeo sword.
When she asks Mi Ho why the monsters started chasing her, she gets a chilling reply, “Because your destiny calls them.”
