Upcoming BL drama “The New Employee” is set to set hearts aflutter with a new trailer that showcases the budding romance between the two main characters!
“The New Employee” is a drama based on the popular website of the same name and tells the story of an office romance between workaholic manager Jong Chan (Kwon Hyuk) and cute new employee Seung Hyun (Moon Ji Yong).
The trailer starts with Jong Chan asking Seung Hyun what his plans are for the night. When Seung Hyun nonchalantly says that he doesn’t have much planned, Jong Chan says, “Then let’s watch a movie after work.”
Jong Chan isn’t the only one trying though: it seems the world also has a funny way of bridging the gap between the two. From the employees carrying huge boxes forcing Seung Hyun to approach Jong Chan in the elevator, to Seung Hyun sliding down the stairs right into Jong Chan’s arms, romance slowly but surely develops between the manager and the new employee.
At the end of the trailer, Seung Hyun asks Jong Chan, “Why me?” Jong Chan honestly and boldly replies, “Because it’s you, Woo Seung Hyun.”
