tvN’s “Alchemy of Souls” is gearing up for its highly anticipated return with Season 2! Written by the famous screenwriting duo known as the Hong Sisters, “Alchemy of Souls” is a fantasy romantic drama set in the fictional nation of Daeho, a land that does not exist in history or on maps. The drama tells the story of characters whose fates turn upside down as a result of magic that swaps human souls. The first season of “Alchemy of Souls” aired from June 18 to August 28 and recorded the highest average national viewership of 9.3 percent. “Alchemy of Souls” Season 2 consists of 10 episodes and instead of Jung So Min who plays Mu Deok in Season 1, the main female lead will be Go Yoon Jung as Nak Soo. In the newly released trailer, Jang Wook (Lee Jae Wook) says, “I should have died back then,” emphasizing his unexpected return. After a flurry of action scenes full of bloody sword, blazing fire and powerful magic, a mysterious woman in white appears on the table. The trailer ends with Jang Wook chillingly stating, “If my strength serves as justification, not a single person will leave this place alive.
